I’m a writer, an artistic soul, sure - I do it for the love of the literature the thrill of the stroytelling, the mere appreciative response of the reader but um… I like to win. May 6th - Jumping the Broom hits theatres. This movie starring Laz Alonso, Paula Patton, Loretta Devine and Angela Bassett is an uptown vs. downtown family wedding drama. Yes, we’ve seen (read) this plot before but I’m kinda feeling Laz right now and I’m determined to support
most of theblack filmmakers out there. What say you? Will you be going to see it? What do you think of the trailer?
